An exercise programme for your body.
Pilates is for everyone who wants to enlarge strength and suppleness, without building op to much muscle mass. Pilates can help to prevent muscle injuries. The focus lies on correct breathing and balance between strength and suppleness. Pilates combines deep breathing and controlled motion from a lying, sitting of standing position.
The “powerhouse” is the powercentre of your body and exists of deep belly- and backmuscles, pelvic floor, gluteal muscles and the inside of your upper legs. During the training you 'powerhouse' will be reinforced. The pectoral girdle plays also a big part in the exercises. This results in a better posture, more freedom of movement, fitness and balance. Language of instruction is Dutch but the trainer speaks also English.
