Introduction for PhD supervisors

Aim:

This workshop will give practical insights into all the different elements that a PhD supervisor at our university has to deal with. It does not deal with how to actually supervise – for that we offer specific training activities – but instead focusses on all elements that play a part in a PhD trajectory at the UG and UMCG. You will learn about rules and regulations of a PhD trajectory at UG and UMCG, and about the variety of training and support that is in place to help you and your PhD candidates. You will also receive information about financing of PhD trajectories and how to set up Double/Joint Degree PhD projects.
