Vibe (formerly Le Chat, by Mistral AI) is a secure and reliable AI assistant for the UG that can help with daily tasks. These tasks could include translating texts, improving funding requests, support during research projects, and writing essays, rapports, policies, and summaries. Additionally, Vibe (Le Chat) can assist in preparing presentations or can provide study tips. 

Vibe (Le Chat) is a secure and reliable alternative for commercial AI chatbots, made by the French company Mistral and adheres to European privacy regulations.

Digital Assistants of Vibe (Le Chat)

Vibe (Le Chat) also supports agents: digital assistants that are developed for specific tasks. These agents are pre-programmed so you do not have to programme them yourself. 

Examples of agents:

• Translating documents 
• Refining funding requests 
• Automatically searching for funding opportunities
  

Pilot and Continued Development

The AI assistant Vibe (Le Chat) will become available as a pilot within the UG. With this pilot, the UG is responding to the growing need for AI tools. At the same time, the pilot offers the opportunity to familiarize yourself with AI, to explore its potential benefits, to develop privacy and security procedures, and to manage possible risks within a safe and experimental environment. The results of this pilot will provide valuable insights for the further implementation of AI in the academic workspace.

The application is accessible via https://mistral.ai/products/vibe/. In order to work with the AI assistant Vibe (Le Chat), you need an account. You can request an account using the request form for Vibe (Le Chat) accounts.
