Application procedure

Great that you have decided to apply for the BSc Global Responsibility & Leadership! The Early Bird application deadline is 15 January 2026 and the final application deadline is 1 May 2026. Please note that the earlier you apply in, the quicker we are able to process your application and the sooner you will know if you will be part of the UCF class in the coming year! We aim to inform you of your status within 4 to 8 weeks after you completed your application.

Step-by-step guide

Register for Studielink

Studielink is the system used in the Netherlands to enroll students in higher education programmes. Both the University and the Dutch government obtain their information from Studielink, so it is important that the information that you upload in Studielink is up-to-date and accurate.

Upload your documents

After you have applied for the GRL programme via Studielink:

If you have a Dutch diploma:
If you have a non-Dutch diploma:
  • You will receive a decision letter based on your secondary education.
  • You will be asked to upload the selection documents to a given Formdesk.
  • You will receive an email giving you access to the Progress portal.
  • Once you have uploaded all the required documents , the Admissions Office will check if your file is complete.
  • All information for students with an international diploma can be found here.

Once you have submitted all the necessary documents, your file will be sent to the Admissions Board and you will receive a decision letter. If you have been deemed admissible, you will go through the selection procedure.

Selection Procedure

When you apply, you are asked to upload selection documents to help us understand your motivation, curiosity, and the unique perspective you would bring to our community. What is needed?

  • Motivational letter or video (in English)

  • Curriculum Vitae (in English)

When preparing your documents, please check our criteria for selection procedure documents first.

If the UCF Admissions Board thinks you are a promising candidate for the GRL programme based on your selection documents, you will be informed via an email!

Accepting your offer and certified copies

If you are offered a place in the programme, first you will receive a (conditional) offer by email. Then, the Admission Board will review your CV and motivation piece and notify you of their decision in the coming weeks. If selected, you will receive a personal acceptance message. Congratulations, you’re in!

You will then join our engaging and informative (online) sessions for accepted students. Please save the date for the mandatory Introduction Week, scheduled for the last week of August 2026.

To finalize your admission, you must meet any conditions attached to your offer (such as obtaining your high school diploma or proof of English proficiency). Once met, you are required to send certified copies of your diploma and transcript (with official translations, if applicable) to the Admissions Office. Read more infomration below:
