Admission requirements 2020/2021
The BSc Global Responsibility & Leadership is an intensive programme for ambitious students. There are three main requirements that students must fulfil in order to be deemed admissible to the programme:
As the Global Responsibility & Leadership programme is a small-scale, intensive bachelor degree, a selection procedure applies. Succesful completion of the UCF selection procedure (both parts) is also a condition for admission to the BSc Global Responsibility & Leadership.

1. Secondary School Diploma
Students are required to have successfully obtained a secondary school diploma which allows entry to an academic university. Therefore, students need to obtain a Dutch VWO diploma or international equivalent before gaining entry to the programme.
2. English requirements
As the GRL programme is fully taught and assessed in English, students are required to demonstrate their English skills by sitting an approved English test. You are exempted from proving your proficiency in English, if you:

|Are a native speaker and have completed your entire secondary education in one of the following countries: USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia or Canada (English secondary education)|
|Have already completed an entire Bachelor's degree programme in one of the following countries: USA, UK, Ireland, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or Canada (English secondary education)|
|Scored a minimum final grade of 7 for the English course for the Dutch VWO diploma|
|Scored a minimum final grade of 10 for the English course at Leistungskurs (LK) / erhörtere Anforderingsniveau (eA) for the German Zeugnis der Allgemeinen Hochschulreife|
|Obtain(ed) an International Baccalaureate diploma, with English as the medium of instruction|
|Obtain(ed) an European Baccalaureate diploma from a European School or one of the Accredited European Schools and have (completed) English as final exam subject|
|Apply with at least 3 GCE A2-level certificates from an accredited British examination board|
If you do not fall under one of these exemptions, you are required to complete an English language test. Information on accepted tests and grades can be found here.
In case you haven't taken one of our accepted English tests yet, or think this is not necessary for you, then please indicate this with your online application. In case it is required for you to take one of our accepted English tests, you will be informed about this by the admissions office when an admission decision has been made on your application.
3. Mathematics Requirements
Due to the content of some courses, UCF has a mathematics requirement. Students are required to have achieved a passing grade in VWO Wiskunde A,B or C or an international equivalent.

|German Abitur||Mathematik Grundkurs gA or Mathematik Leistungskurs /Erhötem Anforderingsniveau with a passing grade|
|British A-levels||Advanced Subsidiary (AS)-Level Mathematics or Advanced Level Mathematics passing grade|
|International Baccalaureate||Mathematical Studies, Mathematics SL or Mathematics HL with a minimum grade of 4|
|Irish Leaving Certificate||Mathematics at the Ordinary Level or Mathematics at the Higher level with a minimum grade of O4/H4|
3 or 5 periods with a passing grade
|High School Diploma||AP Calculus or AP Statistics Passing Grade|
If you did not obtain one of the above-mentioned qualifications, then you are asked to provide us with a Mathematics course description with your online application. Requirements for the Mathematics course description can be found here.
You will be informed on your level of Mathematics during the general admission procedure. If your mathematics level is deemed insufficient, you will be required to obtain one of the accepted Mathematics proficiency certificates. UCF accepts the following certificates:
