Prof. Anne Beaulieu

Anne Beaulieu is a professor of Knowledge Infrastructures and is the Director of the Data Research Centre.

At Campus Fryslân, she leads the major Responsible Planet and developed the minor Data Wise: Data Science in Society. She also contributed to the development of the new bachelor programme Data Science and Society. For Anne: ''Campus Fryslân is an exciting place, where students and staff come together to explore complex and urgent issues. My work is all about how we measure and monitor our environment and what we do with this data. What we know about a problem, and how we know about it, that shapes how we address the problem. That is why it's so important to know about data and knowledge infrastructures, if we want to tackle the loss of biodiversity or climate change.."
