Partnerships

The partners all underline the importance of the sustainable agricultural transition and they are all contributing to it in their own way. Together, we strive for a future in which our food production is sustainable and resilient.

Circulair Friesland
Circular Friesland consists of more than 155 companies, governments, educational institutions and civil society organizations. They are working together to accelerate the transition to a circular economy and to realise the common ambition: Friesland will be one of the most circular regions in Europe by 2025.
Groen Leven
GroenLeven has been active in the agricultural sector for more than a decade and knows what challenges farmers face. There is extensive experience in solar energy - together with partners such as FrieslandCampina and Agrifirm. With solar energy on agricultural land, dual functions can be created, such as combinations with livestock, a solar park with sun-following solar panels (allowing permanent use of the land) or with solar panels over fruit. Renewable energy and modern agriculture can reinforce each other, and Groen Leven thinks along with them.
De Doarpstún
De Doarpstún Snakkerbuorren is a joint project of the residents of Lekkum, Miedum and Snakkerburen. On the Tún, vegetables and fruit are grown (organically and according to the Microfarm principle) and sold by volunteers. In this way, everyone does their bit for the Mienskip (community).
Agro-Agenda Noord-Nederland
The AgroAgenda North Netherlands is a cooperation platform of parties in the agro chain (buying, supplying and service), primary agriculture, governments, land managers and environmental federations and knowledge institutions. Together, they have set the direction for the future of agriculture and the approach. They are joining hands to strengthen agriculture and the environment, always working from values: ecological, social and economic.
