Prof Anne Beaulieu appointed as Honorary Fellow at RUG/Campus Fryslân
Prof Anne Beaulieu has been appointed as Honorary Fellow at the Faculty of Campus Fryslân for a period of two years.
Beaulieu's expertise and interests as a Fellow align seamlessly with the characteristic topics of Campus Fryslân's new Science Team Sustainability & Wellbeing of Campus Fryslân.

Honorary Fellows are highly reputed academics working at another university or research institution in the Netherlands or abroad. The Faculty Board considers Fellows important for the diversity and reputation of the faculty, through their contributions to its research and teaching quality.
The honorary research fellowship constitutes an affiliation with the Faculty of Campus Fryslân. It provides the opportunity for continued collaboration in research and PhD supervision.

Prof Anne Beaulieu has been an important part of the faculty Campus Fryslân for many years. As Professor of Knowledge Infrastructures, she has contributed greatly to the development of our research community, built strong collaborations across Campus Fryslân, and supported colleagues and students with vision, dedication, and warmth.
Prof Beaulieu has recently been appointed to the newly established Chair in Knowledge Infrastructures for Sustainability at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, Faculty of Geosciences, Utrecht University. In this new role, she will focus on developing knowledge infrastructures in biodiversity and climate science to support liveable futures. She will take up her position on 1 February 2026.
The Faculty Board looks forward to continuing its cooperation with Anne Beaulieu in her new role and position.
