Why the Shanghai Ranking is Important

18 September 2013

The University of Groningen rose to 92nd place in the Shanghai-ranking list this year. This ranking list is regarded as the most reliable quality indicator for universities worldwide. The University previously also broke into the Top 100 in the Times Higher Education Ranking, followed by another Top 100 position in the QS World University Ranking in September 2013.
