Cryptic messages
The Faculty of Arts has a Research Assistants Programme open to students doing a Research Master's. For ten months they conduct research supervised by renowned researchers for one day a week, organize a seminar and attend an international congress. Their research findings could even be used for a publication. The programme pilot proved so successful that it has recently been extended. Students have the chance to move on to a PhD student position and will benefit from having participated in the programme when applying for jobs.
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
