On Tuesday 9 April 2019, Lautaro Roig Lanzillotta will deliver his inaugural lecture as Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies of the University of Groningen. The title of his lecture is ‘The Ideal of the Real: Plato’s Myths, Gnosticism and the Historical Jesus’.

Dutch Higher Education Guide 2019: UG-programmes strong at the top

Ten University of Groningen (UG) Bachelor’s degree programmes have been awarded the ‘Top Degree Programme’ title in this year’s Dutch Higher Education Guide (Keuzegids), placing them at the top of Dutch academic education. In the ‘Broad-based General Universities 2019’ category, the university of the north switched places with Radboud University.
