Young deaf, young hearing
The Dollard College Winschoten, the Kentalis Guyotschool VSO, Haren and the University of Groningen are collaborating on a project to put deaf and hearing pupils in touch with each other and to increase knowledge of each other's lives and school lives. The project was sparked off by a question from Tricia Portz, a Dollard College pupil. She took up the challenge set the anniversary event ‘ 400 days for 400 Questions’ and came up with the questions: 'How do the deaf think?' 'And in what language do they think?'
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
