For Infinity: the history
The University of Groningen celebrates its 400th anniversary in 2014. This will be marked by a festive programme (15 May - 15 June 2014) themed For Infinity (400). What has made the University the renowned teaching and research institution it is today? Which people, ideas and past events played a role? Medical man Prof. Petrus Camper (1722-1789) is certainly someone worth remembering. Prof. Mart van Lieburg (professor of medical history, KNMG librarian) and Prof. Bart Ramakers (Historical Dutch Literature) explain why.
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
