European Key Information Document: a guaranteed success?
The European Commission wants to replace the financial information leaflet for complex financial products with a Key Information Document. The document should enable consumers in all European Union countries to compare financial products with each other. But does it work? Carien de Jager, LLM wrote her Master’s thesis about this and is now conducting PhD research on the matter. Her thesis is now in contention for the Generali Innovation Thesis Award.
