Economics of Local Government

The Centre for Research on Local Government (COELO) studies the financial aspects of Dutch municipalities, provinces and water boards. Every year the COELO publishes the de Atlas van de Lokale Lasten (Atlas of Local Costs), a report detailing the level and development of local costs.

The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
