Launch of TODOS Erasmus+ CBHE project coordinated by the University of Groningen

TODOS – TransFormación para el Desarrollo Local Sostenible – is an Erasmus+ CBHE inter-regional initiative that brings together 6 Universities & 3 National Quality Assurance & Accreditation Agencies from 3 different countries in 3 regions of the world: Cuba, Costa Rica & Mozambique. Working together & with support of 4 European institutions highly experienced in fostering transformation & quality improvement in HE, partners from Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America seek to transform the university-territory relationship, promoting relevant responses to the needs of their local communities & in line with the imperative of Local Sustainable Development.
The desired impact will be ensured through a rigorous programme of capacity building activities, grouped around 3 lines of work:
-
Curricular innovations for Local Sustainable Development
-
Professional development for university teachers as Agents of Sustainable Local Transformation
-
Quality assurance & certification from the perspective of relevance
Focusing on micro-credentials, key transversal competences for Local Sustainable Development (SDGs), professionalisation of HE teaching, & processes, mechanisms & tools for recognition of prior learning, TODOS products will benefit all higher education institutions (HEIs) in the 3 regions, as well as in Europe & elsewhere in the world.
20+ dissemination events will bring on board other HEIs & Quality Assurance & Accreditation Agencies in the Caribbean, Latin America & Africa, engaging students, academics, employers, HE authorities, & representatives of local communities into joint efforts to transform HE & make it more relevant in the 3 countries.
The project runs for 36 months, starting on 1 February 2025.
