Sustainability at the UG: Shared Campus Bikes
Starting this month, employees of the UG can use shared bikes to zip around the city. Need to visit Zernike, or you have an appointment somewhere in the city? These bright red Campus Bikes are placed at various faculties so there’s always one nearby. And you can hand in your bike on a different spot as well, so you’re not tied to a location. You can open and lock the bike with an app on your phone. When you’re done, you hand in your bike through the app, and it is ready for use by someone else.
The bikes will be released at the Academy building, Harmony building, and the University Services Department. Other faculties will receive their bikes later. More info about the Campus Bike you can find here (only accessible for UG staff members or students).
