What if you could better understand how your hormones and menstrual cycle affect your energy, focus and work performance?

On Thursday 26 March, YoungRUG and Balans invite you to an interactive and inspiring lecture on hormones, cycle awareness and their impact on daily (working) life. You will discover how a better understanding of your cycle can contribute to greater balance, energy and resilience, both at work and outside of work.

The lecture will be given by Anneke Valk, a passionate biologist and experienced speaker affiliated with Wageningen University. She previously gave a TEDx talk on this topic. With her in-depth knowledge and clear explanations, she makes scientific insights accessible and practical.

What can you expect?

  • Insight into the influence of hormones on energy, focus and mood
  • Practical tips that you can apply immediately
  • Tools to recognize and regulate stress and imbalance earlier
  • Room for questions, recognition and open discussion

This lecture is intended for anyone who experiences a menstrual cycle, as well as anyone who wants to learn more about it. Together, we contribute to greater openness, understanding and inclusivity within our teams.
