Workshop Worst Practices (and how to fix them)
When: | Th 16-10-2025 |
Where: | De Kasteelvrouwe (Melkweg 1, 9718 EP Groningen) |
Meetings that take way too long without anything actually being decided, having lunch behind your desk, colleagues leaving their dirty dishes in the sink. We think everyone can come up with one or two worst practices you and/or your colleagues do. Practices that drain your energy, make you less productive, and, altogether, don’t positively contribute to the relationship with your colleagues. You don’t want those in your office.
In this workshop, which will take place on 16 October from 2 - 5 p.m., we will be tackling those worst practices. In a world café model, run by moderator Suzan de Grijs, we will discuss the worst practices that you will bring to the table, and, with some young professional energy and brain power, try to fix them. Or at least give you some ideas about how you can tackle the worst practices in your team.
The Worst Practices
This workshop runs on your input. When signing up, you have the opportunity to add a worst practice you would like to discuss in the breakout sessions. Please make sure to explain why you think it is a worst practice, but keep in mind to keep it civil and anonymous.
The World Café Model
Discussing a theme in a large group can be problematic. How do you make sure everybody’s heard? The World Café Model is a co-creation method that splits the group into smaller subgroups. Each subgroup discusses one part of the theme on one table, then, after a few minutes, the groups rotate to the next table, building on the things said by the previous group. Thus, everyone gets to say something about all subthemes.
