Theme Cabinet: Beyond the Gender Binary
From: | Mo 15-09-2025 |
Until: | Sa 15-11-2025 |
Where: | University Library |
The Diversity & Inclusion Office is collaborating with the University Library to highlight gender diversity and invite you to think beyond the traditional binary of ‘man’ and ‘woman’.
In the coming weeks, you will find a selection of books in the UB’s themed display that explore gender from a variety of perspectives. Whether you have personal experience challenging gender norms or are simply curious about new viewpoints, there is something for everyone to discover.
The collection includes both academic works and personal stories by authors such as Andrea Gibson, Judith Butler, and Alice Oseman. The themed display can be found in the stairwell on the second floor of the library. For a comprehensive list of e-books, visit the Curated Lists page online.
Be inspired by the theme ‘Beyond the Gender Binary’, running until the end of November, and explore the many ways gender can be experienced, discussed, and reimagined.
