The research group Equity and Social Justice in Child Welfare (Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences) warmly invites you to the launch of their latest book: Queer and in Care: Journeys through Care Being Young and LGBTQIA+.
This unique work explores the lived experiences of being young, queer, and part of the care system. It shares stories of struggle, resilience, identity and community. The book was co-created by researchers, care professionals and (queer) youth with personal experience in care. It aims to give back to the very community whose stories inspired the research, now shared in this powerful collection of insights and wisdom.
