ENLIGHT Workshop: Teaching Sustainability through Experiential Learning and Student-Practitioner Interactions

Dr. Evelien Croonen (Faculty of Economics & Business) organises this workshop in Groningen with teachers from the University of Galway (Ireland) and the University of Bern (Switzerland). Colleagues from different faculties at the University of Groningen will give presentations and there is room for brainstorming and discussion.

Presentations will be about teaching methods that involve active and/or experiential learning (e.g. problem-based and challenge-based learning, learning through simulations, field trips). Several presentations (not all!) are focused on teaching sustainability, but the educational insights are more generally applicable.

The deadline for registration is extended to May 20, 2026. It is also possible to register for parts of the programme!
