Being happy while achieving brilliant results. That's what it's about when Luk Dewulf explains his vision on talents. We often use the word talent to express that someone is exceptionally good at something. But everyone has talents. They become visible in activities that you accomplish effortlessly and that give you energy. In several books, Luk Dewulf explains his vision of talents based on the frame of reference of 39 talents, with creative designations such as foutenspeurneus , zinzoeker , weger and ideeënfontein .
This lecture, organised by the Student Service Center, is based on the book "Working with Talent: What is Talent? What is the difference between "talent" and "talent in action"? How do you discover your own talent? How do you develop it? What skills can you learn to get more out of your talent? What is the difference between a talent and a competency? How do you take responsibility for your results by staying true to yourself? And how can you prevent burnout by choosing talent?
