Finally, the third Impact College will take place. We have had to postpone it for a long time, but on 13 June from 16:00 to 17:30 it is happening. This third lecture is about the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy. Will you be there?
Lightyear is developing the first car powered by solar energy. The solar panel design was born out of the Solar Team Eindhoven's solar-powered cars for the World Solar Challenge. The first prototype was developed through crowdfunding: Lightyear One.
Power electronics test engineer Arpit Gupta will be talking about his experience within Lightyear and his view on the transition from fossil energy to renewable energy.
Marten van der Laan is a professor of System Integration in the Energy Transition since 2020; one of the teaching assignments within the Energy Transition lectorate. He is involved in projects such as Transforming Regions (ESTRAC), Making City and Cooperative in Balance.
