|Where:||Noorderlicht Studio, Akerkhof 12, Groningen and also from 18-07 t/m 20-09 at differen locations in Heerenveen|
The theme of this year's Noorderlicht International Photo Festival is Generation Z. Several talented photographers from all corners of the world will be exhibiting their photo's in which Generation Z (also called Zoomers, roughly born between 1995 and 2020) is represented. Questions around identity are a central focal point.
During the festival a preselection of a project by Amsterdam based photographer Robin Clemens will be exhibited. She was asked to represent research at UG through photography. Amongst others, photo's of sociologist René Veenstra and behavioural scientist Tina Kretschmer will be viewable. This preselection will be exhibited at Museum Belvedere in Heerenveen. The photo's are made as part of the ‘Imagining Science’ series, in which Noorderlicht and the University of Groningen (RUG) continue their collaboration.
