Y.A. de Vries, MSc

I studied biology at the University Leiden, neuroscience at the University of California San Diego, and (psychiatric) epidemiology at the University of Groningen. I completed my PhD at the Interdisciplinary Center Psychopathology and Emotion regulation (ICPE) at the University Medical Center Groningen. During my PhD, I investigated bias in the literature regarding psychiatric treatments and the possibilities for predicting response to treatment. After my PhD, I did research on the development of mental disorders across the life course as a researcher and lecturer in the Department of Developmental Psychology (RUG). I currently work as a researcher at the Child Study Center (Accare), where I do research on the development and treatment of mental disorders.
