T.F. (Taís Fernanda) Blauth
Taís Fernanda Blauth is a PhD Researcher in the programme “Artificial Intelligence & International Relations”, in the Department of Governance and Innovation at the University of Groningen/Campus Fryslân. In her doctoral research, she focuses on AI governance, AI ethics, military innovation, and arms control.
She is a member of the Data Research Centre, where she is involved in the project ‘Enhancing Higher Education Capacity for an Inter-disciplinary Cybersecurity Study Program’. The project is carried out in collaboration with the Center for Digital Society (CfDS) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Gadjah Mada (Yogyakarta, Indonesia).
She is a 2022 Fellow in the Evolving Digital Society research group at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG), in Berlin. She is also an International Research Fellow at the Research Center in Information Society Law (ISLC), University of Milan, for the period 2022-2023.
She holds a MA in Politics and International Relations – Political Theory (distinction) from the University of Durham, United Kingdom, and an LL.B. degree from Universidade Feevale, Brazil.
Throughout the past years, she has continuously worked on the intersection between technology and society. Her research interests include the intersection of policy, information technology, government, and the public; governance and regulation of digital technologies; and ethical issues of digital technologies.
