Research interests
I am a conservation ecologist studying the spatial ecology of migratory shorebirds, with a focus on Black-tailed Godwits (Limosa limosa limosa). I combine GPS tracking and satellite remote sensing to understand habitat use across breeding, migration, and nonbreeding periods.
I also develop tools to support the exploration of ecological data, including R Shiny apps and the ezTrack R package. My work bridges movement ecology, landscape monitoring, and applied conservation to inform habitat management and species protection.
