Research interests

Shuwei Pei is a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen, specializing in intelligent transportation systems, with a focus on autonomous vehicle coordination at intersections. He holds a Master’s degree in Vehicle Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB), where his research explored multi-agent deep reinforcement learning (MARL) for fleet-level dispatching and multi-objective trajectory optimization in autonomous mining trucks. His academic background is strongly rooted in control theory, vehicle dynamics, and intelligent systems. Shuwei is currently working on game-theoretic and reinforcement learning-based frameworks for cooperative decision-making in complex traffic scenarios.
