I am passionate about conducting research and teaching in the realm of integrated sustainable energy planning, in both onshore and offshore contexts, including marine spatial planning. I am particularly interested in the role that actors play in advancing or constraining institutional change regarding energy transition. I advocate for research and education at the intersection of science and practice, emphasizing collaborative efforts with (international) partners from both scientific and practical domains.
