dr. P.C.M. (Nelleke) Bakker

Nelleke Bakker teaches History of Education, especially the history of childhood and education and of child sciences, the methodology of historical research in education, and the impact of long-term processes of professionalization (like medicalization, psychologization and educationalization) on childhood. In the Master Ethics of Education she teaches the course Professionalization, in which these long-term processes are considered and evaluated.
