I recently had the opportunity to visit the University of Katowice in Poland, where I presented my research in international conference and mentored some professors and PhD students. The visit was financed by Metropolis, and I had a wonderful time engaging with the university community. It was amazing to see the enthusiasm from the students and faculty for my research and to have the chance to share my knowledge with them. I made some invaluable connections and learnt a great deal about the research environment in Poland. It was an amazing experience and I look forward to future visits to the University of Katowice.
