M.H. (Hilal) Sudarbi

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Groningen researching the use of artificial intelligence to support science learning among students in Indonesia's underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) regions. My research focuses on how AI-supported instruction can foster scientific argumentation, science identity development, and culturally sustaining science education. Through a combination of systematic literature review and empirical research, I aim to develop equitable and context-sensitive approaches to science education that recognize students' cultural resources, local knowledge, and community experiences while promoting meaningful participation in science learning.
