De programmeertaal Python stelt studenten in staat om in korte tijd applicaties te maken voor techniek en wetenschap. We starten met een inleiding Unix/Linux gebruik. Daarna wordt Python behandeld en tot slot worden een aantal numerieke methoden onderwezen. We werken in dit practicum met Scientific Linux, Python, Numpy, Scipy, Matplotlib en Kmpfit (least squares fitting).
