Using data from the GECKO Drenthe birth cohort, my project investigates the impact of sedentary behaviors and physical activity on children's mental health. The main objective is to understand physical activity pattern in childhood and adolescence, and assess its short- and long-term effects on mental well-being. Physical activity is measured using accelerometersin early lifre. Morover, The study involves questionnaire responses from children and their parents regarding sport, nutrition and mental status in multiple follow-ups.
