Lu Yang holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from Nanjing Medical University, specializing in the interaction between genes, environmental exposures, and their impact on reproductive health and non-communicable diseases (NCDs). She also accumulated extensive working experience in clinical and pharmaceutical settings.She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Department of Human Movement Sciences, under the supervision of Dr. Esther Hartman and Dr. Eva Corpeleijn. Her current research focuses on the role of early-life physical activity in promoting mental health. Lu is also interested in data-driven decision-making in medicine and public health, with the ambition to explore active lifestyles for the promotion of both physical and mental well-being.
