During the last year of his studies, he conducted a comparative legal analysis concerning the housing of realeased prisoners in the Netherlands and the United States of America at the Department of Legal Methods.
Since 2015, Stefan has been teaching various (Dutch and English taught) courses. In September 2017, he began his PhD-project concerning the housing of (ex-)offenders from a human rights perspective, again at the Department of Legal Methods. He is currently studying Dutch ex-offenders' possibilities to gain access to housing by obtaining a priority housing status.
