J.D. (Jonas) Stein, MSc

My dissertation "Reconciling epistemic and demographic diversity" deals with knowledge exchange, generation, and aggregation in groups, and the way group diversity shapes these processes. I will defend the thesis in January 2026.

Since June 2025, I have started a Postdoc under Prof. Carsten de Dreu. My research will combine my own investigations with the broader research agenda of cooperation and conflict in structured populations by Prof. de Dreu.

• "Collective decision-making in groups with structural boundaries." Experimental project with Luuk Snijder
• "Innovation, competition and collaboration in scientific communities." Agent-based simulation and experimental project with Luuk Snijder and Carsten de Dreu
