I am interested in people and places, which is why I work as an assistant professor at the Department of Spatial Planning & Environment at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences (FSS). In my position I am involved in academic research and education. My research interests include arts and culture in communities (in terms of community development, liveability, dealing with place change, etc.), how the arts can be used in community engagement and participation processes, and creative research methods. In my teaching activities, I am involved in various courses at both the Bachelor and Master level at the FSS, as well as at the Honours College.
