I am currently working on the project Decolonizing Antarctic Tourism: Narrative, Governance, and Climate Justice in a Changing Polar World. My PhD critically examines Antarctic tourism through the lens of climate justice and decolonial methodologies. It explores how colonial legacies continue to shape dominant narratives of exploration, stewardship, and access, and asks whose knowledge and authority influence decision-making about Antarctica. By centering justice and epistemic plurality, my research seeks to reimagine Antarctic tourism beyond extractive and exclusionary frameworks.
