Field/Discipline
Expertise
My research focusses on promotion of active and healthy aging through lifestyle in different settings and populations; ranging from prevention in the hospital to community engagement. I combine different research approaches (health, environmental, and citizen sciences), and use various data sources (self-reports, device-based activity monitoring, epidemiological, and spatial datasets) to study person-environment interactions in activity behaviour and lifestyle. My research targets older adults, clinical populations and/or community-settings.
