Dr Elena Cavagnaro is professor at NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences and associate professor at the University of Groningen/Campus Fryslân.
Following her understanding of sustainability as a multi-dimensional and multi-layered concept, her research focuses on issues that run across and connect the social, organizational, and individual level of sustainability.
Dr Cavagnaro has consulted several organizations in sectors such as hospitality, retail, and health care on sustainability strategy and implementation. She has published two books, and co-authored several book's chapters and articles.
