C.H.F. (Chris) Flinterman, MA
Chris Flinterman is an external PhD candidate. His PhD project focusses on the cultural memory of the 1920s in contemporary German popular culture. By studying phenomena like the television series Babylon Berlin or the music of Max Raabe, he tries to find out why there is currently such a fascination for the 1920s and what they tell us about our own time. His research is supervised by Prof.dr. Thony Visser (Groningen) and Dr. Johannes Müller (Leiden).
