prof. dr. ir. C.E.M.J. (Liset) van Dijk


Liset van Dijk was trained at Wageningen University. She obtained her PhD-degree in sociology at Utrecht University. Liset was rewarded a TALENT-stipend by the Netherlands organisation for scientific research (NWO) for a visiting research fellowship at the University of Arizona and the University of Michigan (1995). Afterwards she was a researcher and assistant professor of Sociology at Utrecht University and Wageningen University. From 1999 onwards Liset is employed at Nivel, Netherlands institute for health services research in Utrecht, where she is research coordinator of pharmaceutical care. Since August 2018, Liset is appointed as honorary professor of Pharmacy Health Services Research at the University of Groningen. Her main research interests include medication adherence, pharmaceutical patient care, pharmacist-patient communication, implemementation and policy evaluation. Liset is editor of Antibiotics and Patient Preference and Adherence. Also, she serves as board member of the “Centrum voor Patiënt en Geneesmiddel”. Liset was is board member of ESPACOMP and was its president in 2019.
