Expertise
I am a Lecturer of Private Law and a PhD researcher in private international law and consumer law. My research focusses on how the coordination between private international law and consumer law can be improved to increase user-friendliness while maintaining a good balance between public and private interests. Next to conducting my own doctoral research, I also teach classes.
My focus lies on: Dutch and European private international law, Dutch and European consumer law, cross-border contracting, international business law, international civil procedural law.
