A. (Arpan) Rijal, Dr

Arpan Rijal is an Assistant Professor in Operations Research. His research focuses on the development and application of optimization methodologies, with a particular emphasis on personnel scheduling and energy systems modeling. His works have been published in academic journals, including the European Journal of Operational Research, Production and Operations Management, and Transportation Science.

His current research on personnel scheduling, aimed at improving workforce wellbeing, is supported by a grant from the Dutch Research Council (NWO). In addition, his work on the optimization of energy systems for the aviation sector is conducted as part of projects funded by the European Union and the Dutch National Growth Fund programme (GroenvermogenNL).
