More and more data sources are available for scientific research. New techniques are used to retrieve valuable information, for example by looking for patterns, anomalies and correlations. CIT's data scientists help you collect, process and analyze data from various sources, which can lead to insightful discoveries.

Support on data related research

If you need support in collecting, combining and interpreting data from different sources, you can turn to CIT's data scientists for help with:

  • Collaborating on Projects and Co-writing Applications
    • If your project requires a data scientist, we’re here to assist with consulting, co-writing, and, of course, contributing towards a publication or other outcomes.
  • 16 hours of free data science support - for everyone
    • To help you overcome small obstacles, we offer university researchers and students up to 16 hours of free data science support. Whether it’s an analysis, data collection from websites, or just some guidance, we’re happy to assist—simply reach out to us via datascience rug.nl.
  • Guidance on open-source software
  • Support with programming in R and Python
  • Workshops and training
    • We offer training in Python, R, Deep Learning, Visualization, and Scientific Reproducibility for computational research.
