Listen to the podcast 'A Global Perspective on European Politics,' episode 24: Norways Security Strategy following the Invasion of Ukraine, with special guest Ole Martin Stormoen. He is an external candidate of the University of Groningen

Stormoen's PhD analyses Norwegian strategic culture, and examines how strategic culture changes, and the mechanisms that can explain such changes. In addition to defence, security and foreign policy, his research interests are causes of political violence, terrorism and extremism, with a main focus on jihadism, and various countermeasures against these.

He holds a master's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Oslo, and has also studied Arabic and Middle East Studies at the University of Oslo.
