PhD Community

The PhD Community at the Rudolf Agricola School is a vibrant network of 60 early-career researchers tackling the complex challenges of sustainable development from an inter- and transdisciplinary perspective. It provides a supportive space for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

What do you offer?
As a member, you will have access to a variety of activities designed to enrich your research journey. These include hands-on workshops on interdisciplinary methods, opportunities to apply to grant proposals, and informal networking events (including drinks!) where you can exchange ideas with peers and meet other researchers working on similar topics. Last year, we organized two training workshops, on interdisciplinarity and societal impact, as well as several informal gatherings.

Who can join?
Our community welcomes any PhD candidates whose research relates to sustainable development. We particularly encourage those working at the intersection of disciplines or in collaboration with societal partners to be part of our network.

How to join?
To join our PhD community you must simply become a Fellow and you will automatically be part of our PhD Community. More information on how to become a Fellow can be found via the link below.

Whether you want to broaden your academic horizons, collaborate across disciplines, or simply connect with others navigating the (inter- and transdisciplinary) PhD experience, the PhD Community at the Rudolf Agricola School is the perfect place to start!
