Experiments at large scale facilities

We investigate these processes using advanced experimental techniques, including radiofrequency ion manipulation and trapping, mass spectrometry, ion mobility spectrometry, and X-ray spectroscopy, combined with state-of-the-art radiation sources ranging from synchrotrons and free-electron lasers to heavy-ion accelerators and ultrashort laser pulses.
